Superstitious
Are you superstitious?
Having seen how wizards and witches manipulate things into occurring, I find that I am not really superstitious. I can easily picture a wizard or witch being behind a superstition. For example, perhaps the superstition of breaking a mirror causing seven years of bad luck came about when an unsuspecting Muggle broke an enchanted mirror. A bored wizard could have cast simple hexes at his unsuspecting Muggle neighbours when they walked under a ladder. And so on.
Superstitions don’t really fit in my world. I don’t believe in them and I have no fear of Friday the thirteenth or black cats or broken mirrors. The things that I fear are real and tangible instead of fleeting and ephemeral. I fear the Dark Lord and his followers taking over Hogwarts and wiping out all who stand in their way. I fear Harry not being able to fulfill his destiny. I fear my parents being murdered by a group of Death Eaters.
